A bit of fun – Summer 2015

Two lucky young boys asked their daddy for a play area. Their brief was simple – “We want a pirate ship, a birds nest swing and a slide”. Well they certainly got what they wanted and much much more. We had a lot of fun building this using timber recycled from the demolition of an old workshop to keep the costs down.

The swings, fireman’s pole, slide, ships steering wheel, periscope, flags, rope bridge and rope ladders were supplied by Just Outdoor Toys. Inside the ship there is a small picnic table and the black tubes are made from 600mm diameter twin wall drainage pipe.
